| Indoor ranges here max out at 25 yards. I want to be able to go as far as 100. Given a 25 yd indoor range & some 25 yd. range targets, how can I zero the rifle so that it is accurate out to 100 yards and beyond? |
| Easy anough. I take it yopur talking AR's. Just zero it to point of aim at 25 yds. It will and should hit targets out to 250 .The Military way is 25 Meters. We then still could hit targets out to 400M. I like to Santose zero. Improved Battlesight Zero. .Go to Maryland AR15 shooters website. They give really good description on the various methods of AR15 zero's. WD |

Assuming a sight-over-bore distance of 2.6" and a 20" bbl, M193 sighted in at 100 yards will be about 1.6" LOW at 25 yards. At 200 yards, it will be 1.75" LOW. M193 sighted in at 25 yards will be about 6.4" HIGH at 100 yards. At 200 yards, it will be about 11" HIGH. When I mount a scope the first time, I try to get it about 1-2" LOW at the 25 yard range. Then I'm sure to be "on the paper" at 100 or 200 yards. hope this helps Zak |
