Hi all,

Does anyone know if the RRA lower parts kit includes a buttstock assembly?  If so, I was going to get the stripped lower for $150 and the parts kit for $50.  The assembled lower (incl. buttstock) is $250 so I thought that would be a good way to save a quick $50, but then I realized buttstock assmbly may not be included.

Anyone knows, give me a holler.

James.

Nor does it include a buffer or buffer spring.

And why in the world are you going to pay $150 for a stripped lower?!?

Jblachly, if you haven't seen it already, here is an excellent step-by-step assembly guide for your lower: Lower assembly guide

errr... because $150 (well, $140) is what Rock River charges on their own web site.  I had no idea I could get the same thing cheaper elsewhere!  My goodness!  Eagle appears to be out of stock, who else might have them for a price that doesnt now feel so exhorbitant?

I knew you guys would come through for me [:)]

James.

PS: I see ADCO has them for $110.  Anywhere else have them cheaper?  Eagle permanently out of stock at that price?

You can try Quantico Arms as well.  They're listed in the industry section.

Send eaglefirearms.net an email and ask them about the availability.  They've said out of stock as long as I've known about their site, but they had them in stock when I emailed and asked them, and then ordered my lower.

Even if they are out of stock, they'll probably have them in within a week or two.  IMO, it's worth the wait to save half the price.

Check over on the EE board. You should have no problem finding a new RRA lower for under $100 shipped. I payed $96 shipped for my last one. ADCO has RRA lower parts kits for $54 shipped which is the cheapest I know of, then just pick up your choice of stock. I believe they run from $55-$75 depending on what you want. A2, entry or M4. Anyway shop around and you should have no problem building a complete RRA lower for around $200-$220. The prices over on the  Equipment Exchange board are the lowest I think you will find. Seams most dealers have special pricing for AR15.com members.

Eaglefirearms has the stripped lowers in stock right now, I just ordered one(RRA new logo) and their sending it out tomorrow. I think they had a complete lower with the PG for $145.00, complete lowere with PG and A2 stock $196.00. Save yourself some money and get it from eagle. Good people to deal with also.
