Hey Guys, I learned to bump fire from the shoulder this weekend,I still need to practice but dumped six pretty consistant mags. It looks way cooler than from the hip. I have two questions for the bump fire gurus. 1. Which do you think bumps the best, the A-2 full length buffer and stock or the short car stock and shorter buffer. It seems to me that my 20"A-2 bumps a little slower but a lot smoother. The stubby stock seems to cycle much faster but is harder to dump the whole mag without any glitches. QUESTION 2. If the bolt follows the hammer down and strikes the primer slightly but is not re-cocked and stops the action, are you pushing to hard with your left hand or not hard enough? Thanks in advance for any help and tips. BASE-RIGGER |

My suppressed 9mm AR is a tricky little thing to bump. Not much recoil. I have found that a forward grip makes it very hard to bump. Not sure why. You ever bumped an M-14? LOL TRG |

HOLY &*(%$% I have to admit, I've never tried bumpfiring and I had NO idea you could get going that fast. I heard about a guy "racing" his oly against an m16 I believe, but I guess it never hit me how badass it is. I just bought my first AR... a Varminter, so I think I might be out of luck when it comes to bumpfiring effectively. Not to mention I might just have to give it a try. Bumpfiring alone seems like a good enough reasont to buy another AR. hehehe Good stuff Gundraw |
