Does anyone have the measurements of the different handguards handy? CAR vs. midlength, are CAR and M4 same length? Looking to change furniture and did not realize how many different types there are. Thanks in advance. |
| if you decide to go with the fat M4 types the cav arms ones are excellent and use the best polymer and they are $30 bushmaster and RRA ones are the same except RRA offers green and is $20 cheaper than bushmaster.I have a set from both and the mark under the heat shields for both companies are the same.As far as mid legnth I supose they handle heat a little better and if used on a pre ban with bayonet lug you get the right legnth of exposed barrel to attach a bayonet other wise I like every thing standard.Mid legnth is about 2 1/2 " longer than standard CAR ones.so about 8" for CAR 10 1/2" for mid 16" for full size. |
