| Why did they discontinue these? Is it possible for a gunsmith to manufacture one or to make one in a different caliber? I was thinking getting a 40mm size chunk of metal and a gunsmith milling chambers and rifling it. Would that work? I know it would be a pretty penny but if it beats $300 hell. I really wanted 3 XM1822s and a 12ga adapter but because of the price I might have to reconsider. Just because of the XM designation I have to think that this would have some history. Did the millitary plan to use 22lr in grenade launchers? |
