I was looking into getting a spotting scope to use at the 100 and 200 yard range. Any suggestions? I would also like to use at the 50yd. I am unsure of what power would be best.
Thanks

If you can, find a Variable power, but get the highest you can.  You want to be able to see where the shots hit, not just look at the target.

a 20 to 50 power with as wide a lens as you can get for field of view, and light collection. 60 or 80mm minimum. Look into the Burris-Landmark series. Not very expensive, and good optics.

I just got a Burris Landmark 15-45X60mm scope from Natchez for $139.00  I can see .223 holes at 200 yds no problem as long as they are not in a black target. It has really bright and clear optics. It came with a very nice tabletop tripod also. For the $$ I think it is an exceptional deal.

I would get the YUKON 20-50 variable power spotting scope, at 100 yards, it looks like you are right up to the target....at 200 yards it looks like your a foot away......it's the best scope out there, for a fraction of the price some folks pay hundreds and hundreds of dollars for a spotting scope. it's very compact and exteremly light, and built like a T34 tank, I don't know how many time I dropped mine and it hasen't effected it one bit.......for 89 bucks you can't go wrong.

that includes the Tripod, Window Mount accessory kit
