I like to thank everybody on this board for all the great information that’s been passed on to me and it always tickles me pink when I can pass that info along to somebody else first hand. Ran into a newbe to AR’s this weekend at the pit I shoot at. I believe he said he did his time with an M14. I saw him and his friend reading the Bushy owners manual and walked over to see if I could help. His bolt carrier was hung up so I told him how to tap the rifle butt on the ground. They looked at me funny but it worked the first try. He told me it was the first time out with the gun and he was using up some surplus ammo but he was bummed because his new gun was jamming so much. I looked inside and the poor gun was so new and dry I could barely get the pins pushed out to open the gun. I broke out the Break Free and showed him how to lube the gun and he shot the rest of the afternoon without anymore jams. The smile on his face when he dumped a mag as fast as he could pull the trigger was well worth my time. Now don’t get me wrong I still enjoy giving my 870 with 18” barrel and 3” buckshot to smart ass kids who think they know everything and sending them home with bruised shoulders. But that’s another story. ;^)
