In this case, the ability to make the rifle [b]longer[/b] would make it an illegal assault weapon! I guess that a longer gun is scarier and should thus be banned...er...help me out, guys...? |

fiz: Not only that, but my understanding is that a stubby stock with an "adjustable butt plate" that extends out to A2 length is also post-ban legal! Haven't seen an ATF interpretation on this, but have heard it's allowed b/c the buttplate requires the use of tools (hex wrench) to adjust in and out. So that being said, I wonder if a more conventional-looking CAR-style stock that required the use of tools to adjust, would likewise be legal? |
