| Hey, guys - I have a fairly new Colt Sporter (1999) that I'm considering turning into a varminter. I want a better trigger, but noticed that Bushmaster's 2-stage will not work on Colts. Does anyone have experience with what will work on a Colt? Am I SOOL? I really appreciate your input! This is a REALLY useful site!!! |

Accuracy Speaks makes an excellent trigger for the Colt, as do others. There was also a Colt factory upgrade that is not in the same league as the true match triggers but it was much cheaper and it was probably better suited for use on a 'duty' rifle anyway. They're pretty hard to find anymore though. |
