Who's got 'em and what do you think? What's a fair price? The website is asking 75 bones. |

Cons: It does add a few ounces and bulks up the side of the AR just under an inch. Also, if you decide only to carry one mag, it's a pain in the balls to take it on and off. When changing out the mags, the spent mag has a tendancy to drop to the floor. Pros: It does serve it's purpose very well. Real fast change outs, and with some practice you can yank both out at the same time and swap the spent mag back into the redi-mag well in a quick one-two motion and hit the bolt release. The covered well keeps the mag free of debris and rain/snow/etc. Personally, I like em. My AR hangs out in the safe mostly. But when I go up to the camp I leave it leaning against the wall next to the door. I like knowing there's 60 rounds handy. It's better than a beta mag cause if that monster jams up, there ya are. 30 rounders are easy change outs. Basically, it has it's purpose and it works for me. Everyone has an opinion. I think the pros outwiegh the cons. And for those who think a 9lbs rifle is heavy need to get their ass in the gym. Cheers[beer] |
