It pisses me off to see that the victims' from this so-called "Maryland sniper" are banning together to sue Bushmaster. I say we chip in $5.00 each to fight back. You might think well Bushmaster has all the money they need. No not true, if they get sued and have to fork over the pesos then Guess who pays? We Do! Not only in the pocket book, nevertheless our freedom too. Well I feel this is our way to fight back! What’s five dollars to you or me? Nothing! However if every member…around 40651 last I check sends five dollars Well that would be a nice chunk of change! Do the math! That would tell them damn jerks that they cannot push us around. If they sue Bushmaster and win well I wonder if victims from the South East Asia War might sue Colt… Who is to say that the people of Ireland might sue Armalite? Well that’s the preferred weapon of the IRA. It stops here and now! I am calling Bushmaster tomorrow to donate money. Connor B. |
| Spend 15 on a new 10 rounder or accessory instead. Better yet see what you can do on an upper or new rifle from them. Your heart is in the right place, but I think our strong vocal support and patronage work best (for now atleast). I know I am looking into a 16" and a few lowers from them in the future. |
| I agree, this would be an excellent idea. Bushmaster is one of the most principled firearms businesses. I plan on buying a barrel and a few other accessories within the coming month. When I put my order in, I'll throw in another $5, for donation to their legal fight. |

What they should do is have a raffle. Put together a couple of accesory packs and sell tickets at $1-$5 per ticket. They have a lot of free advertising among the arfcom members and I am sure the NRA wouldnt mind donating a spot for a month or two in their magazines. I am sure they could raise enough cash to help cover all those legal expenses in no time... WAS |

Your intentions are noble. If you truly want to help them purchase their products . I can assure you this,we the customer are going to pay whether we know it or not. That's just the way business works. Costs get passed on to the consumer. Just throwing in another $5 to your order for a donation towards their legal fight isn't a good idea. Your hard earned money might not go towards the good you intend it for. It's easier if you just spend the money for product. |
