OK im P.O. at my stock single stage Bushy trigger. It just feels so damn gritty when pulled, my dad and I tryed honing it but it only stays hone-like for about 10 rounds :) I'm looking to get a new two stage trigger for my 20" National Match A2. Preferrably inexpensive cause im short on money b/c of college and stuff. Thx.

Try the RRA 2 Stage.  $95 from Legal Transfers on the EE.

Before you go throwing money at your trigger, I highly recommend the D.I.Y. 15 Minute Trigger Job.  It turned my Bushy's POS stock trigger into a sweet 4.5 lb. pussy cat.

One note on directions: I didn't bother tapping out the safety - it wasn't necessary on my Bushmaster.

That means that you cut too deep and have damaged the hardened surfaces of the sear engagements.  Pitch that trigger.

I recommend the 15 minute trigger job for service triggers....  and if you really want to get a sweet one, the RRA 2-stage is nice.

Actually we just polished up what we knew could be polished. My dad knows what he's doing and no he didn't ruin anything or change any angles or surfaces. I think after I get home tonight I will try that trigger job, but I really love 2 stage triggers and it looks like RRA makes good ones. Any other people make good 2 stage triggers that are somewhat inexpensive?????

Also, when I was shooting with the Ranger Challenge Team for Army ROTC, we had borrowed a bunch of M16A2s from the Ohio National Gaurd and the triggers on those were very crisp and smooth. Would that be just from use, do the triggers get better as you use them more?
