Anyone know where to get thoes U shaped mag inserts that limit 20 usgi mags to 5 rd for hunting? Thanks Eric |
| Just get a piece of wood that will fit into the bottom of the mag (front to back, side to side) and clear the tabs. Measure the length of the ammo stack you want to elimunate (15 round stack). Put wood spacer in bottom of mag and replace floorplate. Check how many mag will really hold. Adjust length of wood accordingly. No cutting or destroying mag. When done, remove wood and mag is as new. I've also used steel pallet banding strap to cut and bend to make the "U" shaped type spacers you mentioned; however, the metal spacer scrapes the finish inside the mag. |
