I havent seen many posts on thease and the ones i did see said there was no use unless you were testing handloads.  I was going through quarterbores page and saw where he or they used one and could have the rifle not cycle if it was turned a certain way.  It said it would make the rifle essentially a bolt action where you had to pull the charging handle for each shot.  Is there any reason why this would be harmful to the rifle.  I would like to get a suppressor after a while and this would make a pretty significant difference in sound.  Can anyone comment on this?
