I am going to purchase a Bushmaster pre-ban 16" upper soon and I need to know where to buy it for the best price. It's 535.00 on the Bushy site I think. Any other retailers have them cheaper? Also, are there any special options that increase the quality or performance that I should get? Are the Bushy bores chromelined like the barrel or is that an extra? Thanks. Also...I need to buy a M4 style collapsable stock. At the gun show today a guy was selling some for 59.99 each. Is there a difference in quality in these or all they all about the same? |

Bushmaster chromes both bore and chamber on all their barrels except for the Varminter and DCM Competition. I've always made it a point of ordering Bushmaster parts directly from Bushmaster... That way I know it's ALL Bushy. I figure the few dollars more it costs to order direct are worth it to know it's the real deal. The only special options I'd consider are lots of ammo... enjoy... |

I would definitely reccomend a flattop receiver with the detachabele carry handle. It adds versatility to the rifle and is a must for mounting optics. It is also a must for one day mounting a SIR or RAS II. I have had some after market stocks rattle a lot more than factory stocks. Though i do have one aftermarket that doesn't rattle at all. I would take a careful look at it and see how well constructed it is and then make a decision. |
