I've got an AN-PVS2 starlight scope (NV) with a mount that is supposed to be for an A2 (carry handle) AR15, but, I can't quite figure how to properly attach the mount to the rifle.
Does anyone have a picture or diagram (or even a description) of the proper setup?
I can't seem to find anything on the net.
Thanks in advance for any help, and happy holidays.

May I politely suggest that you be a little more specific in the troubles you're having in mounting your scope?

I had some trouble mounting a NS-156 Newcon a while back on Ruger 77/22. Ended up with a hacksaw on the mount. Still holds tight....Not sure what you're encountering with your scope. Maybe a little explaination???

Kinda difficult to explain, until I found a photo and figured it out.
The mount goes *inside* the carry handle loop, and clamps to the underside of the handle. Then, the rail the scope slides onto is parallel with the left side of the upper rec'vr.
The scope ends up low to the bore, but offset to the left.
The trouble I had was because the mount would not *fit* inside the carry handle, that portion of it is about 1/2" too long, so, as Kevin related, some Dremel and file work is in order.
I found the pic in the Army tech. manual for the starlight scope, online at www.adtdl.army.mil/atdls.html
