I think all the pre-ban rifles were designated AR-100, K-1 or K-2. I had an AR-100 that had a side folding stock. Nice rifle but impossible to get parts for. If something breaks you're SOL.

I believe all Daewoos are "preban" but some Daewoos were imported before and some after the ??1989 ?? ATF ruling that banned a bunch of guns and forced them to them be brought in with thumbhole stocks, so there could still be restrictions on their configuration i.e. you can't switch out the thmbhole stock-I don't remember what else was involved.

I thought this came up before, recently, did you try "search"?

DR200 and DR300s are postbans... no bayos, no flashhider, thumbhole stock.  Still a great rifle!

Are you sure? I thought they were 89-94 rifles. Did they bring any in after 94? I know they were effected by that ATF ruling? They can be no bayos, thumbholes and be pre-ban because of that previous ATF ruling that was similar to the ban.

I'll try to remember to dig out my blue book tomorrow.

Post 89, pre-94 from my recollection, but the effect is the same... they are post-ban weapons and its not an ATF ruling, it is an Executive Order which has the force of law.

Remember it's the '89 ban that effects imported rifles.
