I bought a new Bushy AR Sat and at the range, the first few times I reloaded (same mag -10 rounder that came with the gun) jammed at the initial bolt closing.  I then continued to fire 100 more rounds with the same mag and this time, to my relief, with out incident. Breaking in?  Note- I had just taken the gun out of the box (bought at gun range), and fired it.

It may have been as simple as a stiff spring in the mag.

Bought my bushy two days before sniper started... Had the same problem with the factory mag, and it cleared right up with a couple of reloads. Could be stiff springs, maybe riding the charging handle? The feed problems I had were also with the ammo I grabbed at the gunstore, which turned out to be SAAMI, not mil-spec. Broke in my mag, learned to be crisp with the charger, and bought 1000 rds fo m193 from ammoman, and been flawless since.

I think the Bushy mags are kind of known for this until they are well broken in. Mine did the same. Used a different mag and no problem.
