Hope some of the pros on these boards can help me....I have heard from some folks who say that the gun ban ends in 2004. After which manufacturers may flood the market with pre-ban rifles OR gun owners can combine pre and post ban rifle components! Can anyone shed light on whether or not these statements are true at all????? Greatly appreciated!

wellll...

the slime bill will "sunset" in september of '04 if we can keep the congresscritters and votewhores from reinstating it, or adopting something similar or worse.

If the existing AW ban is allowed to just "go away" then... collapsable stocks, flash hiders, hi cap mage and etc. will all be allowed again on new, or existing firearms.

perhaps in twenty years, NIB, unfired "post-ban" guns, restricted/blocked mags and other "workaround" efforts (circa: 1994-2004) will be hot collectables!!!

Don't start getting your hopes up that the Bush Administration will let the Crime Bill sunset....it will be renewed in the name of preventing domestic terrorism.

I agree with SOF1. Can't think of ANY gun law that has ever been repealed?
