Hello.  I need your advice.  I got 2 rifles.  One is Remington 700 PSS .308 and another is AR15.  I got Leupold VariX III 2.5X-10X tactical on Rem 700 now and Aimpoint Comp M (which I bought from SWFA) on AR15.  Now I'm thinking about getting another scope.  I'm mostly interested in Tasco SS SWFA sells.  So....my question is which scope goes on which rifle?  Should I mount the Tasco SS on Rem 700 and put the Leupold on AR15?  Or should I mount the Tasco SS on AR15 and keep the Leupold on Rem700?  Also should I get the "M" version or the regular one?  Is it really worth extra $100 for someone who just shoot paper target?  If I should get the regular version, what manification do you recommend?  My guess is 10x is adequate for just shooting paper target 100 to 200 yards away.

I would move the Tactical Leupold to your AR and put a 10 SS rear focus on the PSS.  No need to spend the extra $100.00 for a side focus.  The 10x is more than enough magnification plus you will enjoy the wider field of view it offers.
