While our lowers are all spec lowers that will fit almost any jig out there (lots of these new CNC designs will not work on regular jigs), that older approach is expensive and a bit scary as the instructions make it seem more complex than assembling a kitplane.



So the entire engineering team is burning the mid-night oil working on new approaches that can make it monkey simple. One of the approaches is 3D printed jigs which is open sourced (free) so you can do it at home or send it off to one of those guys that will do it for you for $20-30. Yes there is major challenges with 3D printing, we know as we are on the fourth major version in 2 weeks. But we are determined to figuring out how to make it work, even on a 30 year old Sears-Robuck drill press.
