I placed an order on July 1 for a GM-22 as an individual. The form 3 has been sent off. I still have not heard anything on the form 4.
I know this order was in the middle of the 41p rush. Just looking for any info on the new form 4. Thanks |
| We are working on that now. I've mentioned this on other threads that we file the form 4 in about half the time that the form 3's are taking. So right now form 3's are 8-10 weeks. We hope to have the form 4's up and ready by the time we hit the halfway mark for customers that bought on July 13th thus not slowing down the process. Once I have more information I'll make a post and update everyone. |

Hard to believe SS does not have Form 4 ready to go. Uh oh, and you still haven't heard anything on the form 4?? I'm only 19 days behind you.... I'm praying that photo app comes out, or I'm gonna end up downloading a app from somewhere else and emailing it in.... At least then, they will have all the info so when they get things straitened out they can get it out ASAP. |

I understand the frustration. It's not as easy as just flipping a switch. Thank you for bearing with us during this massive change. We are working 7 days a week to get everything ironed out.
However we will start filing the first Post 41F form 4's next week. The App should be online this week (so I'm told) and this Thursday or Friday emails should go out on all orders for digital signatures. |

Whats a week or so delay, I mean hell, we're all probably in for a 2 yr wait anyways on form 4s  You guys make this process simple for us all, which has to be a pain in the ass on your end so I understand.
BTW, how does the digital sig work?? Kinda like efiling your taxes?? You just type your name and certify you did it?

All of my Form 4 and Form 1 are with my trust. But, the instructions for the Form 4 state:
2g. Photographs and Fingerprints. An individual transferee, except if licensed as a manufacturer, importer, or dealer under the GCA, must (1) attach to item 15 of the ATF Form 4, a 2 inch x 2 inch photograph of the frontal view of the transferee taken within 1 year prior to the date of the application and (2) submit two properly completed FBI Forms FD-258 (Fingerprint Card with blue lines) with the application. The fingerprints must be clear for accurate classification and taken by someone properly equipped to take them. |

That means I have to go back to the damn sheriffs office and get another set. Yes, for a individual it always was 2 of each. Only thing new is now trusts must submit that info as well, for every person on trust. Form 4 itself must be done in duplicate as well I think. Typical government forms. |

3 months now and no Form 4 from silencer shop Suppressor is already at local dealer.
This is almost like waiting for the ATF. Order placed July 1, been hearing the same response for the last 2 months "Should be sent to you in a week or 2" I am wanting to purchase another suppressor from them, but this is starting to annoy me. I have had prints and pics since July 1, and let them know this. First 2 went thru with no problem. I would like to purchase several more cans from them, but I may have to find another vendor. |
