Have technical question concerning Griffin taper mounts. I own a Recce 7 with mounts on both my 5.56 and 7.62 rifles. I am considering purchasing a Recce 5 thru the Silencer Shop but am concerned; is it possible to accidentally mount the Recce 5 on one of my 7.62 rifles? One of them wears a flashcomp and the other a minimalist.

Yes they work on the same taper mounts. However you can easily see the size difference in the Recce 5 and 7. Very few silencers have specific mounts to the caliber.
