My originally posted inquiry was in GD and can be inspected here. The trigger would not go in with the safety in place. Safety would then go in after the trigger but not after trigger AND hammer. Once the safety was in after the trigger and the hammer was then installed, the safety would not move to safe from fire and it could not be removed. Cocking the hammer made no difference in the above.
I noticed the following: There was a mark made by the right rear of the trigger assembly on the flat of the safety cut out (not the side of the cut out) where it was impeding the movement of the safety to the safe position. The hammer would be captured by the disconnector without the trigger being held to the rear. The trigger spring appears to have the right leg shortened with wire cutters and is also bent. There appears to be pliers marks on the spring's right coil adjacent to the shortened leg, and these coils are not together nor concentric like the left coil. Am I missing something or has this trigger been manipulated?
