Geissele is currently running seven days a week with Sunday's production devoted to SCAR triggers. Recently we have found SCAR triggers being sold at upwards of $1600 through internet auction websites. We fully understand the free market concept but our customers come first. In order to prevent price gouging of SCAR triggers through internet auctions, SCAR triggers will only be available thru Midway USA and our website. The triggers will be sold at the new, lowered retail price of $325. (They used to be $400).
Each week we are going to be offering a limited amount of SCAR triggers on our website at approximately noon every Wednesday. There will be a limit of 1 SCAR trigger per customer. Multiple orders will be cancelled. We are working on production tooling so that we can meet demand for the SCAR trigger, once this tooling is online the SCAR trigger will be much more available. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this difficult time. We will update this thread about 15 minutes before the triggers go on line for purchase. Favor to ask, can you just take one week and dedicate it to SCAR triggers since the scar trigger is such a PITA compared to standard AR platform triggers? That would be great instead of 7 triggers made here and there. Remember we have a few thousand SCARs out there and all of them have the same garbage trigger. Thanks G! |

You beat me! I was 5009. Edit: And they're all gone in less than 10 minutes. Wow. It must be the best and worst of times to be Geissele....panic, newbs like me, unprecedented demand and uncertain futures. How do you run a business in these conditions? Pray a lot! |

On February 13 ordered at 12:03. Shipped at 3:24pm. ! Super Scar and 1 SSA. Makes everybody else's customer service look bad. Go Geissele! Arrived 15 February at 1030. Installed this evening. Only pain was the 2 diameter trigger pin, and that wasn't that bad. Maybe a slave pin would make that easier? Anyway, it's a magnificent improvement to my SCAR heavy. Thanks Geissele! |

I am going to do everything humanly possible to have 20-30 triggers ready next Wednesday. Both Saturday and Sunday we will run SCAR triggers. And the next week we plan to have at least 50-100 I definitely appreciate the effort you guys are doing to try to meet the local demand. Crazy times. |

I just found this thread. So first off, congratulations to everyone that has scored a SCAR trigger!
My primary question is: Are any of the SCAR triggers going to fill pre-existing Midway USA backorders? I have had a SCAR trigger on backorder from Midway USA since 12/20/2012. The price at the time was $400 but the current page now says $325. There is no way to know how deep the backorder line at Midway is but the SCAR trigger page currently says - Data expected in stock: 08/28/2013!!! Offering these on Wednesday at noon is completely impossible because my day job has a corporate firewall/content filter that blocks my ability to purchase during work hours. |

Half of our production goes to Midway Excellent! I figured the answer would be, "the Midway orders had not been forgotten" but I much prefer having your conformation so I'm operating on fact instead of assumption. Now, I just need to hope there are not thousands [and thousands] of Midway orders in front of me. Thank you very much. |
| How could there be thousands? There aren't that many of these rifles that have sold. When I look thru FN Forum I count maybe 30 rifles-When IU come to AR forum it's the same rifle's- So maybe lets say 200 of these produced- And many can't afford the trigger- So hang in there-you'll get one. I got mine |

Guys,
It looks like we are going to have 40 Scar triggers up at noon. Tomorrow we will ship a bunch to Midway for their backorders. If you will be purchasing one today from the Geissele website please log on and create an account first (before noon). This can take some time and we recommend doing it before an item is placed into the shopping cart. Even if a trigger is not picked up today we are planning on making a big dent in the SCAR backlog in the near future. Thank you for your patience. WHG |

How is it worth the effort ?????!!!!!!! I was online all set to go at :1145 EST - I started refreshing the page at 11:50 -Gave up at 12:20 and never once did it come up in stock. Hard to believe they went that fast: Or did they change the time? 2 weeks in a row I've done this and never did it say in-stock. Maybe this coming Wednesday will be the lucky day.
Installed mine the other day. Thank you for making my rifle finally feel like it's worth the money I spent on it Such an awful stock trigger on such a finely crafted firearm. Anyone who hasn't gotten one yet. Keep trying, it's worth it. |

Were you checking on Eastern Time or Central? I refreshed in stock until about 12:20 EST. They had stock for a long time.
