Just received my SD3G from Primary Arms. Lower receiver is an Aero Precision that previously had a DPMS lower parts kit installed, and the trigger worked over by Bill Springfield. No issues with it stock or after he modded the trigger. Install the SD3G and the hammer won't drop until after I apply a bit of pressure to the back of the disconnector. At that point, pulling the trigger will drop the hammer. Removed the safety selector and the issue remains the same so i feel I can rule it out.
I feel its necessary to add that I have spoken to Geissele and they said to send the trigger in, but if I can save us all the hassle, that would be great. Not badmouthing or looking to stir anything up, just want to exhaust all options before i send it back. Really hoping my lower isn't out-of-spec or something... |
