Who makes the bolt release/catch on the OIP rifle? Battle Arms? Some other manufacturer?

If I had to guess, I'd say that's a prototype from Forward Controls Design. BAD and FCD are pretty close after all...

I am guessing that is the BAD model. The Forward control one looks very different. Also the serrations match BAD's Mag release.

That is a prototype 3D SLS (Selective Laser Sintered) Enhanced Lightweight Bolt Catch in 17-4 SS Most of the radical lightweight design changes I made are internal and you can see a bit of it at the heel. It was something Roger and I worked on when he was still with BAD. His input was mostly external on the angle of the paddle. Our final design is still being refined for integration of added features.
