Does Battle Arms have any plans in the future for a Titanium or lightweight Bad-SS?

We will be releasing the lightweight selectors later this year after we are done making OEM versions for other manufacturers. The safety center will remain steel but with lightening cuts and the levers will be in 7075T6 Aluminum & Hard Anodized. We prefer not to use titanium for the center as the detent groove can be chewed up by the harden stainless steel detent and affect the smooth feel and operation of the safety selector. Titanium tends to be "soft" and gall in comparison to our heat treated hard steel centers. We want to save weight but not at the expense of any decrease in performance and reliability. |
