Just got in my first two sets of these on Monday from Brownells. Wow what a difference a bit of length and nurling makes pulling the pins. The fit and finish is 100% flawless as all other Battle Arms products are. I just ordered six more sets to outfit the rest of the fleet as I feel these are a must have on a AR. Please make these for the MP15-22 as well. Not having to find a doohicky to push on a pin to take down is very nice. It amazes me how your products really simplify the AR.

As to MP 15-22, they do work. The only difference is the 15-22 receiver's take down pin spring/detent hole is next to the selector detent/spring hole, so the flat that's normally facing 1 o'clock will need to be rotated counter clockwise (with the pin head facing you) by 90 degrees, so the detent holes and groove of the ETP is facing 6 o'clock. The flat is now facing 10 o'clock, not a very useful place for it to be, but there's still knurling on the rest of the pin head 
We will be offering a version for receivers whose take down pin spring/detent hole is not parallel to the bore, this will orient the flat on the ETP to 1 o'clock

Yes I tried the second set on one of the M&P's and realized this. They work but need a tweeking. Glad to hear you are going to make them. |

Do you find them useful? In testing, we wanted to make sure the pins would be easier to use with gloves. Being we're not in a really cold part of the country, I still wear gloves all the time when I shoot and that was one of the design goals. After they've been released, feedback from users indicated that in cold weather, with stiff and colt hands, gloved or not, all the little improvements we added to the pins really come in handy

I have a couple upper/lower combos that are right on spec or trying to be out so pins lock up super tight but with these I have never had an issue with them |
| Thank you for your feedback, it does validates our reasoning for making the pins 0.0005 smaller in diameter. Not small enough to induce wobble and play, but just enough to make it more compatible with the myriad of uppers and lowers mix and match combinations out there. |
| Duffy, was just looking at my BAD EPS and noticed one of the springs has a slight bend to it at the end like it got caught on something. Will this have an effect on its operation? If anything it makes the spring ever so slightly longer. I was going to just purchase a set of springs and detents incase I send one into orbit but they're sold out on the website. If it won't effect operation I won't even worry about it. |

If you notice any degradation in performance or reliability (I don't think you will), I'll send you a replacement
Two new KNS detents and CSS springs are included in the retail EPS package, customers can use them or keep them around as spares, you probably have enough to go around

Though not specifically designed for it, the EPS also works on the Smith & Wesson MP15-22. MP15-22 receiver is thicker and requires its own selector center.
The 0.030" extra length is absorbed by the MP15-22's thicker receiver, there's still enough of it protruding from the left side of the receiver to work well on it

I'm in the process of a midlife rebuild of my 9mm AR. This one has a NDS lower and a RRA upper, and has always required a mallet to drive the pins.
I swapped over to a set of these - much, much better fit! I can almost completely drive the rear pin by hand, and the front is perfect. A few hundred rounds should make the fit perfect. These are rapidly becoming one of my must-have components, just like the BAD-ASS. |
