****This issue has been addressed and taken care of, see the tacked thread HERE for an explanation.  This is one awesome company, and I am extremely happy with their handling of the situation

After installing my B.A.D A.S.S. safety selector switch I did a function check and to my surprise the selector switch wouldn't budge.  I took the pistol grip back off, dropped the detent out and insured that everything was installed/positioned correctly, which it was.  I reinstalled everything, and again, switch wouldn't budge.  I disassembled everything one more time to make sure I wasn't having one of those days and had messed something up, but everything checked out again.  Reassembled it all yet again, and this time I put quite a bit of force on the switch with my thumb, and sure enough it moved from "safe"  to "fire".  It took an equal amount of force to move it back to "safe" so I decided to try and break it in, thinking maybe some metal burs where left in the manufacturing process.  Each switch back and forth from "safe" to "fire" to "safe" was very difficult, to the point of causing pain on my thumb.  So I took it apart yet again and thought that if I replaced the provided detent  with the stock detent, I could begin a process of elimination and find the culprit.  Once reassembled with the stock detent, the selector switch moved perfectly, a little firmer than the stock setup, basically "just right".  I then took a close look at the detent provided with the kit and noticed a bit of material had been displaced or worn off, almost gouged out it.  I tried to capture this with pictures, they didn't come out so well but you can get an idea.  Seems that the detent was to blame, but comparing it to the stock detent, they are visually identical other than color.  Has this happened to anyone else?  What could the cause be?  The lower is a BCM, lower parts kit is BCM (bought this as a complete lower), and the grip is a Magpul MOE.  Very confusing situation, I am glad I got it to work I just hope I didn't damage any part of the selector other than the detent, especially since I installed this on a non-45 degree lower and thus voided my warranty  Am I good to go now with the stock detent, everything checks out okay, just left me with an unsettled feeling.

ETA:  The amount of force I had to use to switch the selector back and forth with the provided detent was EXTREME, n ot sure if I got that across or not previously.  I had to use a LOT of force to get it to budge, holding the receiver firm with one hand, and pushing with a great deal of force with the thumb and index finger with the other.  Also, the detent was perfectly finished prior to installation, I must have deformed it while forcing it back and forth.

Sorry about your troubles, we just posted and pinned this in all the forums where we have a presence.

The issue has to do with the angle of the detent groove.  A few of the November production 90 and 45 degree centers are out of spec, when we know about it, we replace the centers for the customers right away.

The good news, is that these centers can be made to work, and we send you a replacement center regardless.  We do not require the old one to be returned, so for affected customers, they can keep the old one if they tinker with it to make it work, and upon request, we will provide them with levers they want to complete another set of selectors, as a way of making up for our goof up.

I will be sending you a new center, a new detent on Monday

Got an email as well as a phone call from Roger addressing this issue and all I can say is that this is one truly fantastic company!  They are taking care of this issue and then some.  It is also great to know that the issue has zero effect on reliability, so now that I have it working well I am good to go.  Thanks again!
