This might be a dumb question, but I cant figure it out.
I purchased a flat top upper with the picatinny gas block. My intention was to mount a set of LMT front and rear sights to it. My problem is that the gas block picatinny is about 5/16" lower than the flat top receiver. The LMT sights are at the same level. Is there a picatinny riser to get the front sight higher?? Thanks Justin |

I don't know about a riser but there are front sights made taller for mounting on a railed gas block.

Quoted: Quoted: You need a front sight designed for a gas block. The one you bought is designed to be mounted on a free float rail. Awesome. off to buy another sight Thanks! Check to see if LMT makes a gas block height front sight and see if you can exchange your rail one for the correct gas block sight. |
