getting ready to pull the trigger (har-har) on an upper for the varmint rifle I've put off building for a little too long and need some info. Here's what I'm looking at "barreled upper 20" bull, ported barrel 1x8 twist, bipod stud only, flat top upper, bolt and charging handle, picatinney rail gas block, standard free float handguard"

My questions...first it reads "with bolt and charging handle" so I assume that it will not include a bolt carrier? If not how much to include a carrier?  Next would be the obligitory "How many month wait am I looking at?" The site says that the porting makes a 3 week difference in time, I'm trying to decide if it would be worth that.

Thanks

I'd think the bolt is complete with a carrier, but I'd call just to verify.  Usually when someone says a complete upper, it would jsut drop right on a lower ready to shoot.

I am sure someone will be along shortly to correct me.

Edit:  I am not sure I would wait for the porting.

That is meant as bolt carrier assy & charging handle, we had a tremendous number of questions that came when we listed it that way before, most didn't think that it included the bolt, then when I listed everything out, that just confused more people.  Then they thought that they had to put all of the bolt together and they wanted to buy it assembled.

I'll have to check tomorrow and see where we're at with 20" bulls and get back with you.

You are the man, Jesse.

(We met at the Dulles Expo Center a few years ago.)

OP, have confidence in J&T.  You will be  treated right!

Thanks Jesse

dtrosch I like the way Jesse fields the numerous questions he gets here even though the gun frenzy is working everyone to death. I called another vendor the other day that I've heard good things about on here and talked to someone that from his tone and the way he treated me obviously had better things to do than answer my questions about his product that I had intended to buy. He had them in stock but I was so put off I'd rather wait a while if need be.

I suppose I'll go ahead and order it and hope for the best.
