Hey Jesse/Teresa,

JVP, Seymour, CT...

Who?

P.S.  The lowers are beautiful, except for the dot-matrix sn.

That's my subcontractor.  The next batch will not have their markings on them.  I don't like the SN either, but that's what ATF said that they like the best, so we aim to please.

Jesse,

Thanks for the quick (and I do mean quick) response.

Actually, I was curious about JVP's experience in forging lowers (in other words, who they are and who they supply).  If you can't tell me that for whatever reasons, that's fine.

And, my comment about the dot-matrix serial numbers is a minor point.  The two lower receivers that I just received from you guys are among the best that I've ever seen.  They are as good or better looking than the Rock River ones that I have worked with over the past two years (and I like the RRA ones very much, too).

And the J&T lower parts kits and A2 buttstock assemblies that I put on the lower receivers assemblied effortlessly.  Thanks for the great products.

And, as always, your customer support is first rate, which is something that RRA could use a little work on (no flame of RRA intended as I like their products, just a friendly suggestion).

The forging comes from the same forger that supplies Colt, BM, FN, among others, JV is located in "Gun Valley", and have done numerous projects for numerous manufacturers.  Their primary business is making parts for aircraft, so they are excessively strict on tolerances.
