Does anyone know if the Troy VTAC rail segments are compatible with the JP VTAC system? I think JP's prices are a little too absurd for a simple 2" segment.

I don't see why they wouldn't be, the slots in the rils appear to be the same size.

Hi,
I don't believe they are. The VTAC rails have a v-notch on the bottom so they align with the cutouts on the inside of the rail. I am pretty sure this would make them incompatible with the JP rail.

I guess it wouldn't hurt to try them out anyways and know for sure. I'll place my order with you guys when I get home and report back once I try them out.

I have both these ...

I have a spare short rail, that lays on either, I didn't' bolt it on to either rifle, but it drops into the vent holes on both perfectly.

I forget if the spare is from JP or Troy, but it looks compatible with either.
