I like the texture idea...but a grip that looks like a the size of a pocket pistols?....I'd think a hand filling grip would be better than AK-47 tuna grip.

This grip does not fit the SCAR as advertised. Here is the thread I started on it with measurements.

We have 5 SCARs in house and they fit on ours.  They do fit tighter on the SCAR than on a AR15.  The tech group started to double checked the grips  during your call to see if we had the same problem and we didn't.  By reading your post it looks like they offered to have it sent back to inspect it.

I think the pictures of the measurements speak for themselves. They wanted me to pay to send the part back to be inspected and I found it unacceptable as I said in my post. I will ask around locally and see who else has a Scar and order another grip and post measurements when funds permits me to do so.

In order to get the grip to fit properly I had to flare the edges with a 10mm grinder with my dremel and do some filing inside along the edges. I was then able to put the grip on with help of a mallet. Out of the box there was no way this grip would go on. While the adjustments were easy there should have been no reason for them if the product in question worked as described.

Thanks you for looking into this matter.

I just installed this on my LMT MRP. It feels so fucking good. I cant even describe it. At first I was turned off by how it kinda looks AK-ish, but I dont even care or notice, and when you actually LOOK at it, it doesnt. An AK grip is like grabbing a lead pipe, the Troy grip is like attaching your fist to the rifle. Its really slim and lets me grip the hell out of my rifle, which is ideal. I loved my MIAD but Im done with it.
