I was having accuracy issues with a brand new, stock DD mk18 upper. I had my rear sight maxed out in windage, and still couldn't achieve a reliable zero. After closer inspection the m4 feed ramps were off Inside the reciver.
I removed the barrel nut to further inspect it. Low and behold the indexing slot was a solid 1/8 in off center. A little disappointing considering it's DD. Especially given the price tag. But just goes to show. No manufacturer is perfect. On the plus side it gave me an excuse to toss the billboard reciever. |
