Should I put on my DDM4 V7? I want to go with a 15" and as light as possible. Any one else done this swap? I am just trying to shave as much weight as possible without a bbl change. Thanks. Happy New Year.

I'm a big DD fan but I love my BCM KMR rail. Easy install too with no timing required.

I had a Samson Evolution 9"EX rail on my mid length piston upper. Felt like it was a little flimsy. I ended up with a Daniel Defense 9"RIS on it. LOVED IT. Now my Colt CAR3 HBAR elite has a 12" DD rail on it. And my daughter just built her upper with a DDM4 12". GREAT rails. Easy to install. Highly recommended.

I am looking at 2A Armaments 15" MLOK and SLR 15" ION Ultra Lite MLOK. Both of which are extremely easy to install.

But I won't be purchasing anything till after shot show. Going to see if DD releases a light weight MLOK rail as I would rather stick with Daniel Defense.

I have a BCM KMR too and really like it. Good point to wait til after shot to see what is new and go from there. I would also like to stay with DD. I really like the light weight of my DD V1 lw so I am all about getting some weight reduced where I can.
