| I just saw where DD added a V11 Pro model to their catalog. It looks like it only adds a Geissele trigger. Are there any other differences between the pro and the standard V11? Also, how does this compare to the MK12? I haven't seen any Pros for sell so I am not sure when they will be shipping. |

BCM charging handle?... hmmm, when is DD gonna get into the market for these? you've developed your own complete furniture (I'm digging the new grip and stock) and your newest muzzle mitagator. thoughts?
*and nothing is wrong with the BCM charging handle. I own one myself. just curious. |

Father's day Sale, ended last night. My FFL confirmation came this morning! Quoted:
Link? I couldn't find it. Father's day Sale, ended last night. My FFL confirmation came this morning! I did the same but can no longer found my order. Just sent DD an email. |
| I just picked one up last weekend, I will post back once I get it out to get it dirty. I have to wait for my MRO to get here to put it on the LW and then move the TR24 to the PRO. If it runs half as good as my V11LW then it will be a winner. Hoping to do some 3Gun work with it this Spring.Local shop was running $100 off any DD rifle so I got it for under $1500. Once you figure out the cost for the upgrades, trigger, CH, 18" barrel and muzzle device it is a pretty good value for the package. |

I have had mine out a couple of time and really do like it. My goal is to use it in 3 gun matches. I put an aimpoint on it but I am going to change it out to some type of micro. I have shot it just casually and in a carbine class. I really do like it. No climb at all for me when shooting. No issues at all so far.

Would any one see any large problem using this gun not only as a competition rilfe but also as a go to rifle for training, hunting coyotes and home defense? I noticed that the regular DDM4V11 SLW has the same list price as the Pro. I like the better trigger and charging handle. The trigger comes with two springs one for 3.25 pound break and one for 4.0 pound break. It is a single stage trigger. I think that I can get over the couple of inches longer barrel length. Would love to hear your thoughts. |

Would love to hear your thoughts. With the holidays and all the rain I have not had it out to the range yet. I need to confirm zero on my muzzle loader for our upcoming season here in Ohio so I am hoping to get it a little dirty then. I don't see why you would not be able to use this as an all purpose rifle. That is what I had my V11LW set up, I had an Eotech on a QD mount for training and HD but I also had a TR24 with a QD mount set up for it as well. All I had to do was swap them out for my chosen purpose. I'm really excited to see how the rifle length gas system and the comp will handle recoil. I ran a few classes with guys that had comps and while they were loud, they really helped contain the recoil and get them back on target quickly. I would have to imagine that would be useful for taking care of any varmints, 4 legged or 2 legged! Unless you are doing some serious tight quarter stuff, the extra 2 inches of barrel length should not be an issue. I also forgot to add that I received a rebate form for a free pair of Oakley's with a proof of purchase. I have to decide between the Gas cans or the Fuel cells! Let me know if you pick it up and I will report back when I get it out to the range! |
