From pics online it appears as though the new DD BCGs are laser engraved with the DD on them. Are there any identifiers on the older BCGs?

I have one that doesn't have any markings on the BCG (maybe a year and a half old).

I have two of them and couldn't find any markings and just wanted to make sure I wasn't overlooking something. I wonder how companies can tell which is their product and which is not?
