I've seen this topic come up a lot without a solid answer. I have a RRA ATH and the gun is a tack driver. However, it can be a tad front heavy.
I took my handguard off today to weight it and help decide if I am going to replace it with a new keymod or something else. In my own testing the handguard weighted 12.8 ounces. (0.8lbs) Here is the handguard I have http://www.rockriverarms.com/images/products/advhalfqd15.gif As for the ATH, the weight is without question due to the heavy profile barrel. |
