What is the current availability of the new R3 model?? If not the complete rifle then just the upper??

I believe that we are just starting/will be starting to ship the earliest orders (SHOT Show 2013).
We had one of th enew production rifles at the Intermedia Writers Roundtable last week and will have one or two (at least one will be a shooter fo rthose who want to give it a try) at the Zombies in the Heartland 3-gun match in Grand Island. NE at the end of the month. The modular rails sections and swivels for the TRO handguards (as found on the R3) should be ready soon as well. Steve/RRA |

We're just ramping up for the R3s. Have shipped a few preliminary builds and will start cranking them out in quantity shortly.
We had two at the Zombies in the Heartland 3-Gun Match in Nebraska a week+ ago-one for display (which was also available to be fired upon request) and one on the prize table. Steve/RRA |
| I was excited to hear that these rifles will be getting cranked out soon so as a Dealer in Missouri I contacted RRA about and order we have for the R3's and was told that these rifles are not in production, they are still waiting on parts and can not stop production lines of current items to produce the parts so it will still be several months. That was quite a disappointment especially after hearing that they are starting to crank them out. |

We ordered ours in early March and I am guessing there were a ton of orders in January and February but then again I'm sure RRA is turning a good number of this model out every week so we have to be getting closer. It is very encouraging now that I have seen some available on Gun Broker and have started to hear of others receiving theirs, but I am still pretty anxious to get them in the shop (especially since one of them is for me!). For both of our sakes I hope the wait isn't another 5-6 months. |

Shipping them pretty regularly. Barrels coming in semi-fequesnt ly, so it's just a matter of getting ahead of the back orders (there were days/weeks on which we received enough orders to suck up several barrel shipments just into fulfilling orders from that/those day(s).

The links I posted earlier still show fixed stock models ready to ship.
carbine stock model is... hard to find at best.. searched for weeks and found one on gunbroker.com Dealers have them on order for stock as well as individual orders order direct and wait.. or keep searching like we did.. My brother in law was/is pretty excited with his new rifle. |

This is one sweet stick! Thanks RRA, and thank you Steve for feeding me updates as much as you possibly could. ETA: R3 Complete Upper Half with chrome BCG and RRA Ambi charging handle. I had the RRA lower ready and waiting with a Geissele SSA-E.
