Steve,

REALLY like the 6.8 and now own a second one (Coyote as well as the A4) and was wondering if you guys had found the EASY button and gotten the 1/11, 4 groove barrel going yet.  I am handloading for the 1/10 SpcII and getting great results accuracy wise and within 20ish FPS of equal length 1/11 4 grooves but I am seeing fewer 1/10's out there so assuming that the 1/11 maybe in the near future for this little gem.  I did see that Ruger dropped the 6.8 and hope that you guys continue on "the path" with the cartridge.

Looking forward to the LAR8 showing up and then looks like there maybe a RRAK in the future.  These things are worse than potato chips - can't have just ONE.

No real consideration being given to 1:11, 4 groove at this time.
The problem is that there isn''t a problem.  We're getting fantastic results and feedback on the 1:10 that we're using now, with all sorts of factory loads (I know...someone will come back in teo hours with some odd-ball one that we haven't heard of let alone tried),  Changing hasn't really seemed necessary with those kinds of results.  Is it possible that we'll do a limited run of 4-groove, 1:11 at some point?  yes.  Will it become our standard barrel  anytime soon?  Probably not.

The only thing that won't group in either is the Sellier and Bellot but the brass is fine for reloads. It is good to hear that you guys are seeing strong sales and getting solid feedback on the 6.8.  I 've become a big fan and it is the main reason that I started digging out my reloading equipment.  Of course, to steal a line, only accurate rifles are interesting.

At any rate, if a 1:11 run does come along, I'll certainly look at upping one rifle to the new barrel.  Takes about 30 minutes even with head spacing.  The nice thing is, pop two pins and swap an upper and a budget minded shooter has an A4 deer killer for dad, mom or the kids.  It offers a LOT of juice and is considerably better than the 556 for deer and with the 85 TSX, plenty flat enough for coyotes out to 400.

Thanks Steve - Keep rolling this cartridge out there.  Maybe in that new Wiley Coyote camo or as a "Deer Hunting Special" featured on the front web page.

Best of luck,

Ted
