| I know the Tactical Carry Handle was designed to be used with Aimpoint sights, but does it work well with any other optics? Will a Burris Fastfire or Trijicon RMR work? |

Instead of a new thread.... I saw one of these used for sale. Are these Milspec Height or Commercial? While I'm at it the same question for standard RRA carry handles, are they also Miilspec or Commercial height. Thanks Not sure what you're referring to when you say "mil-spec" and commercial when discussing rear sight assemblies. The rear sight on either the A2 carry handle or th RRA Tactical Carry Handle are the same height as your standard rear sight for use with whichever front sight is appropriate on the upper in use (front sights is where your primary difference would potentially come into play, but again has nothing to do with mil-sped versus commercial). If I'm missing something, please let me know. Thanks. Steve/RRA |

The height of the carry handle (shelf) is it commercial (.800+ -) or Milspec Height (.835 + -)
What I'm getting at is I have an upper with an A2 FSB and I need a carry handle that's commercial sized since my front post is extended too high for my liking. Does RRA use F stamped FSBs' Commercial vs Milspec carry handle |

I'll check the drawings when I get a chance.
I'm going to assume the "mil-spec" as our FSBs are "F" height across the board (whether with or without the forge mark, the FSBs that we would use with an A4 are all the same height) and it's been that way for several years. Steve/RRA |

Since there is no industry standard, low/extra-low ring heights are very subjective and differ significantly from maker to maker. With the Aimpoint X-low ring and the Trijicon TX-14 (IIRC), you have lower third co-witness with 30mm non-magnifying optics.
