ok i am not  new to ar platforms but i am not partial to my new lar 8 a2 having a 5 o clock ejection instead of the standard 2 o clock that i am used to with my regular ar 15s,. of course this is nice for the shooter to my right in cmp comps, but also might be a detriment  to a left handed shooter with the lar 8,. is there a way to change the blot speed  to change from 5 to 2?, either the speed or the mass would have to change, or is there a change  for the bolt and extractor and ejector to do this,,, i really like the way  223 with a click in brass deflector on the a2 just drops them at 2 o clock right at your feet.. so is this changable or  learn to live with it?.. p.s. i have tried both 168s and 150gr  ammo at variable  m.v.  and no change..

5'oclock ejection?  Is this normal for the LAR8?

4-5 o'clock ejection is the norm (it varies by load, but it's generally in that vacinity) for the LAR-8.
Our design guys have been looking at it to see if it can be changed (although it isn't detrimental to operation, it is an annoyance to some folks).  I'm not sure where they're at in testing different ideas, but I'll try to find out and post it here when I do.

thanks steve i know my spotter  for cmp sure would appreciate it he's tired of dodging brass sitting right rear.
how about a case deflector for the lar a2 first? that might be the easiest fix
