What's the current word on the Elite Comps? I have had one on order through Doug Tunno (LE Sales) since early December '08. I can't get any info at all from RRA customer service other than that I will know when the rifle has shipped when it shows up in my hands. I'm just looking for a glimmer of hope. Thanks, Chad |

Well I'd suggest having your dealer call RRA and have them change the rear sight to either the ARMS 40 or 40L flip down. RRA has had a hell of a time trying to find somebody to produce the PADS. There was another proto-type coming from a company a couple weeks ago that should work this time around. But who knows. I haven't heard anything since. Most dealers now are placing orders with the ARMS 40L rear flip down sight.
After Steve told me this a couple weeks ago, I had my order changed. But there are also rumors that if you make a change to an order that's already been placed, your order will go to the bottom of the list. I called RRA and asked them about the rumor and the gal said it wouldn't affect my order. So who knows. Guess it's a toss up. |
