I ordered an RRA Tactical Car A4 back on August 1st.  This is week 13 of a promised 12 week waiting period and the answer I got from RR is we haven't shipped any rifles for some time becasue we don't have barrels and we don't know when barrels are coming in so we don't know when your getting your rifle.  I find this answer unacceptable.  I understand things happen in manufacturing but 12 weeks is a long time.  To tell a customer that you don't know when they are getting something that they paid for 12 weeks ago is poor customer service.

Any additional info would be greatly appreciated.

Well...we're shipping over a thousand rifles a week...just not necessarily the model you're waiting on.
We don't "promise" ship dates.  We provide estimated lead times.  Estimate is a nice term for educated guess, based on orders in -house, anticipated delivery dates for parts, planned production schedule, etc....The 8-12 weeks is an average lead time.  Some go out sooner (like the gentleman inthe thread eho got his 20" Varmint in 4 weeks) and some take longer due, generally, to vendor delays on component parts.
We know we have people waiting on products...and we apologize if we aren't meeting the anticipated lead times on all products.
