Steve,

Are RRA 5.56 rifles truly spec for mil spec 5.56. I was told that most RRA rifles the .223 Wylde spec for their barrels. I was this was in between 5.56 spec and the .223 spec.  I wouldn't want to shoot hot 5.56 ammo and have problems.

I would assume since my rifle is stamped 5.56 that it has truly a 5.56 barrel.

The rifles cataloged as having 5.56mm NATO chambers (the vast majority of what we sell)do have them.  Those cataloged as having Wylde chambers (all stainless and the 20" moly) have that chamber.  We do not us any .223 Remington chambers.
The Wylde isn't a "hafk way" between as some would suggest.  It was devised in the eighties as a match chamber for semi-autos.  It id made to safely, reliably, and accurately chamber, fire, and shoot both .223 Remington and 5.56mm NATO ammunition.
