Well I got me one those RRA 308 and decided to get me some spare magazines for it. Well I ordered 10 from J&G got them in and five of them do not fit. Well they fit but on three of them you have to pull real hard to get them out. Two of them you have to break the rifle open and use a very small screwdriver and pry the mag catch further back. So I guess if you decide to get some spare mags you might just wait till RRA comes out with theirs. DRJ |

We have readily acknowledged that not every FAL mag will work wel with the LAR-8...many don't work well in FALs at this point. We're running alot higher percentage than you indicated, but we get some that either won't fit a magwell (most of those are out-of-"square" mags) or don't want to feed (typically bad springs and or dragging followers). In my personal experience, most of the FAL mags coming out of eastern Asia and Africa (except South Africa) have been problematical, but the South African, Australian, Israeli, Belgian, British, Brazilian, And Austrian mags have been virtually trouble free (as long as the mags are in decent shape)....
