Steve, I have not seen an up date on what iron sights were used at the factory. I know you said that you would check on that and maybe I just missed your answer. Don |

Don, We've used different combinations with each other, even assemblies that we don't sell. Unfortunately, the records kept were not fantastic. Additionally, we have found deviation in sight height to sight height (particularly removabe or flip front sights) of close to .020 from the shortest to the tallest, with rear sights having a just slightly less spread to them. At this time, I would say that with the elevated receiver and taller gas block, the same sights used with most .223s should be pretty close. I may have to redo all of the testing (with better record keeping and ammo all form the same source, same batch to keep it all consistent)on my own if the weather and finances ever cooperate, as well as me getting my LAR-8...which seems to be a few more weeks out.
