We don't carry or offer a cast charging handle...I just went through three years worth of web site information and five years of catalogs to make sure that a cast part wasn't there as an offering. All of the RRA charging handles are machined from forgings. The only other charging handle we offer is the PRI Gas Buster, and it isn't cast, either. Rest assured that your rifle (and every other rifle we've shipped...also upper halves and individual parts orders for charging handles) have been of the same manufacture, machining, and quality. Thanks Steve. Looking closer at your website, I think I see what may have confused me. 6 part numbers below the "forged handle assembly", there is the listing "AR0026 ( item number ) 26 - Charging handle" $19.00. Didnt pay attention that it wasnt the complete assembly. That must be just the handle portion of the forged assembly. Thanks for the fast reply! BTW...I have to say that even though the wait time for weapons can be a little long ( my impatience ), the wait was well worth it and I recommend your product whenever I can. I have also had very positive experiences on a couple small parts orders. Thanks again to you and the rest @ RRA's.

Not a problem. AR0026ASY is the complete assembly. AR0026TASY is the same thing, but with the Badger Tac Latch. AR0026GBASY is the PRI Gas Buster Charging Handle (w/military big latch). The standard rig is also available as parts (spring, pin, latch, handle) for those looking to build their own or for small parts. Steve/RRA |
